Balanced Stone Acupuncture does not bill insurance, but you may still have acupuncture coverage and you may be able to submit a superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement. A superbill is a specific invoice that lists diagnostic and procedural codes that are required for benefit reimbursement. We are happy to provide one free of charge upon request. To help you understand your coverage, ask your  insurance company the following questions:​
 

• Do I have out of network benefits for acupuncture?

• Is there an out of network deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

• What percentage of the visit is covered?

• Is there a limitation to the number of visits that are covered?

• Can you provide me with a list of covered diagnosis codes?

• How do I submit superbills?

This list will help you understand what your coverage is so that you know when to request and submit superbills. We do not submit them for you.
